WHO - “Arabkir” MC - ICAH

"Arabkir" MC - ICAH welcomed Dr. Jihane Tawilah, the newly appointed head of the WHO Country Office in Armenia and Henrik Khachatryan, one of the employees of the Country Office. Dr. Tawilah got acquainted with the work carried out and discussed new cooperation ideas with Ara Babloyan, the scientific director of the complex and Sergey Sargsyan, the head of the ICAH.
 

The relations “Arabkir” MC with WHO have a long history, starting from the first pediatric courses. Later, in collaboration with the WHO headquarters and the University of Geneva, “Arabkir”, for the first time in Armenia, implemented the hand hygiene program aimed at preventing the spread of nosocomial infections. And today, “Arabkir” MC-ICAH is the Armenian partner of the pan-European research studies "Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children" and "Monitoring Obesity Among Children" by WHO. 
 

We would like to note that employees of "Arabkir" MC - ICAH continuously get invited to other countries as experts in programs of WHO and other international organizations, and Ara Babloyan, the scientific director of the medical complex was a member of the Executive Board of WHO.
